API Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Brawn & Fox, LLC (“Brawn & Fox,” “we,” “our,” “us”) provides this privacy policy to describe how advertising data accessed through Meta’s Marketing API is collected, used, stored, and retained by the Claude MCP - Brawn & Fox application (App ID: 34279606918350530).

This is an internal automation tool used exclusively by authorized Brawn & Fox personnel to manage the company’s own Meta ad account. It is not consumer-facing and does not collect personal information from end users. Use of data accessed through this application is subject to and governed by the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

2. Meta Permissions Used

ads_read — Used to retrieve campaign performance data, ad creative details, and pixel event statistics for internal reporting and monitoring.

ads_management — Used to programmatically manage campaign status and budgets (pausing, reactivating, and adjusting campaigns based on product inventory levels and seasonal events).

read_insights — Used to retrieve page-level engagement metrics and ad performance insights for internal reporting and trend analysis.

business_management — Used to retrieve business account information, connected assets (ad accounts, pages, Instagram accounts), and system user configurations for setup and diagnostics.

pages_read_engagement — Used to read Facebook Page engagement data and retrieve page-level access tokens for insights queries.

3. Information Collected Through the Meta API

Campaign and ad data: Campaign names, ad set configurations, ad creative details, delivery status, budgets, and scheduling information.

Performance metrics: Impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, ROAS, frequency, and cost-per-purchase.

Pixel event statistics: Aggregate event counts (PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, Purchase). No individual user-level data is accessed.

Custom audience membership counts: Aggregate audience sizes only. No individual user data is accessed or exported.

Page insights: Page impressions, page views, post engagements, and follower metrics. Aggregate data only — no individual user data is accessed.

Instagram account data: Account username, follower count, and media count for the connected Brawn & Fox Instagram account. No individual follower data is accessed.

Business account data: Business name, verification status, and connected asset information (ad accounts, pages, apps) for configuration and diagnostic purposes.

Information NOT collected: This application does not collect personal information about end users, device identifiers, browsing or behavioral data, cookie or tracking data, or any data from individuals interacting with Brawn & Fox ads.

4. Use of Data

Advertising data accessed through the Meta API is used to:

  • Generate internal daily performance reports for Brawn & Fox
  • Automate campaign management decisions based on Shopify inventory levels (pausing ads for out-of-stock products, reactivating when restocked)
  • Adjust campaign budgets during pre-scheduled seasonal events
  • Monitor ad creative performance and fatigue metrics
  • Verify pixel tracking health
  • Monitor Facebook Page engagement metrics and audience growth
  • Retrieve business account and connected asset information for configuration and diagnostics

Data is not used for targeting, profiling, or any purpose outside the stated internal functions. Data is not combined with any third-party datasets in a manner that would lead to the identification of an end user.

5. Data Sharing

Brawn & Fox does not sell, rent, license, or share Meta advertising data with any third party.

Data may be shared only under the following circumstances:

  • When required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • With secure infrastructure providers supporting the storage and operational functionality of this application (subject to confidentiality obligations)

6. Data Retention

Performance reports: Retained for up to 12 months for trend analysis and reporting, then deleted.

Campaign management logs: Retained for up to 90 days from the date of the action, then deleted.

Cached API responses: Processed in real-time and not persisted beyond the current session.

Deletion: Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Upon Meta’s request, all Platform Data will be deleted promptly and in accordance with Meta Platform Terms.

7. Security

Brawn & Fox employs technical and organizational measures to protect advertising data, including:

  • API access tokens stored in encrypted configuration files with restricted file system permissions
  • Access limited to authorized Brawn & Fox personnel only
  • No public-facing endpoints or interfaces
